SiN, also carried as Sinister, is remembered as one of TheMercs' most respected long-term rivals, a competitive PvP guild the Mercs met and fought across many games over roughly two decades. Per direct member accounts from the Mercs side, the relationship was the kind that only forms between organizations that stay in the arena for twenty years: rivals game after game, enemies in some wars and allies in others, with a mutual respect that outlasted any single title.

On Asheron's Call Darktide, SiN operated as one of the earlier organized PK monarchies during the formative political era of the server, cited alongside JARBO and Blood in retrospectives of that scene. From there the rivalry with TheMercs carried forward through the games that defined the following two decades of open-world and competitive PvP, the same long arc TheMercs themselves ran.

The human core of that story is the part worth getting right. SenDog was a central figure in SiN through the long rivalry with the Mercs. He passed away in recent years. He is remembered with respect on both sides of a rivalry that ran for two decades, which is the highest thing one OG guild tends to say about another: that the fighting was real, and the respect was too.
